We’re proud to unveil the launch of our first Point of Presence in Austria, located at the Digital Realty VIE2 data center in Vienna (Louis-Häfliger-Gasse 10, Building 1, 1210). This marks a key milestone in our expansion into Central Europe, significantly enhancing our network’s reach and capabilities.
The Vienna PoP offers robust connectivity and capacity services, including:
- DATAIX Internet Exchange. Our internationally distributed, secure IX network, connecting over 580 ASNs with 8.7 Tbps peak traffic load.
- IP Transit. High-performance internet connectivity with direct access to Tier-1 ISPs.
- DWDM System and Wavelength Services. Scalable and reliable transport solutions on our 15,000 km DWDM backbone.
All services are available with 10G, 40G, 100G, and 400G ports.
Fully integrated with our existing network, the Vienna PoP connects directly to our Frankfurt hub via advanced ROADM nodes in Stuttgart and Munich. The connection offers seamless and resilient connectivity throughout Europe, with an option for a protected channel to Frankfurt via an alternative route, ensuring added redundancy. This new location not only strengthens our European infrastructure but also opens up new opportunities for customers in Central and Southern Europe, the Balkans, and beyond.
